All dimensions for this project were taken from a 1/35 scale model and multiplied by 8.75 to give me a 1/4 scale measurement. All the internal workings of the tank were designed in my head and rough sketches were put on paper, basically I figured things out as I went along.

Upper hull and lower hull joined together. The tank is glued using PL premium construction adhesive. Brackets are then screwed in to critical high stress areas and a couple layers of acetone/fiberglass resin mix is painted on the inside of the hull. This allows the resin to seep in to the wood and joints and form an extremely strong bond.
